Bryan County Foreclosure Auctions
Bryan County holds its foreclosure auction at the courthouse at 151 South College Street in Pembroke, on the first Tuesday of every month. Pembroke is the county seat but Richmond Hill is the largest city, and the county runs courts in both. Bryan sits in the Savannah metropolitan area and grew from 44,738 residents at the 2020 census to an estimated 52,062 in 2025. Not bid on the coast before? Our guide sets out how a Georgia foreclosure auction is run.
One county, two courthouses
The 1938 courthouse in Pembroke is the third built for the county and houses Superior, State, Juvenile, Probate and Magistrate Courts. A second courthouse was completed in 2010 southeast of Richmond Hill and houses the same courts, and the clerk maintains a full-time satellite office at the Courthouse Annex there.
Two buildings, both current, both hosting Superior Court, is unusual in Georgia and it makes confirming the sale building more important here than in a single-courthouse county. Foreclosure notices publish in the Bryan County News. Our auction day checklist covers what to have with you on the morning.
